Northern Pensions Resource Group
| NPRG is
a group of people interested in pensions from a union/
pensioner organisation perspective. The majority of
members are member trustees of pension schemes and trade
unionists, with academics and professionals - including
lawyers and actuaries - in addition. We meet in
Gateshead Civic Centre, every three months on a Saturday
morning. The Group has provided responses to the Government's consultative documents on pensions, and representatives have met with Government Ministers, in conjunction with our London based sister-group IPRG, to put across our views. For those who cannot attend meetings, full notes of all discussions are taken and circulated to members. We also send out a regular list of recent publications of interest, and a note of recent developments. |
